The MedTech company Defymed from Strasbourg has obtained a grant of 230,000 euros for the development of its deLIV3R project as part of the Be Est Projets d’Avenir program. Financed by the French ministry of Economy (PIA3) and the Grand Est Region and implemented by the operator Bpifrance, this program aims to support the most innovative and ambitious projects in the region.

The deLIV3R project developed by Defymed aims to:
– Validate the effectiveness of a new innovative drug delivery site;
– Develop a minimally invasive surgical procedure (laparoscopy) to allow the implementation of a drug delivery device in this new site. To support this objective, Defymed has selected the University Hospital Institute (IHU) of Strasbourg, recognized worldwide for its expertise in the development of new minimally invasive surgical procedures and guided by the image.
